Signs Your Dog Has Allergies
Allergy season can be a difficult time for our pups so here are signs to look out for.
Runny Nose: Similar to humans, dogs get runny noses. They can also get congested, sneeze, and get wheezy all the same way humans get.
Red Eyes: Again, much like humans, dogs can get red, watery, itchy eyes from allergies. If their eyes are looking blood shot and they are watering up they are likely suffering from allergies.
Skin Problems: If your dog is scratching like crazy and has hives or severe dry flaky skin this can be a symptom of allergies. Keep your eyes peeled for red patches and extra irritated looking skin as it’s a sign of allergies.
Ear Problems: If you notice your dog doing a lot of head shaking and pawing at their ears, it can be a sign of an ear ache or infection caused by allergies.
These are the most common symptoms of allergies. During allergy season, look out for these signs in your pup to make sure they get the help they need if they are suffering from allergies.
