Signs Your Dog Has A Tick(s)

Ticks are an unfortunate part of being a dog owner so it’s critical to know the signs to look look out for. Ticks can be easily picked up by your dog and they will make your dog incredibly sick. Below are the signs to be on the lookout for.

  1. Sick: The biggest indicator is you will notice your appears sick like they have the flu or are feeling under the weather. They will become lethargic and seem weak. Their movements will get slow and they will rest significantly more. Their appetite will decrease and they will begin just laying about.

  2. Join pain: Your dog may develop pain in the joints and will struggle running and jumping. You may notice them limping as it becomes increasingly difficult for them to move like they used to.

  3. Irritation: You may notice a red, inflamed, irritated section(s) on your dog. There may be a scab where your dog scratched at it too hard and it developed a sore that scabbed over.
